Michael Burgett is a 15 year veteran in Sales and Marketing and brings a wide array of experience working with private equity groups in mergers and acquisitions. His various positions have included senior management roles in business operations, sales and marketing management, and key client satisfaction.

Michael holds both a Bachelor of Science as well as a Master’s Degree from Ball State University. In addition, he currently serves as a trustee for a local charitable foundation.

As a business and legislative consultant for clients in the private and public sectors, Cynthia has been involved in corporate affairs for over twenty-five years. She has been recognized by two Indiana Governors for her work on both the Council on Technical Education and The Indiana Human Resources Investment Council. Additionally, she has participated in numerous leadership capacities statewide.
She has directed special projects for Ivy Tech Community College that include the Indiana Pacers, as well as serving as the Director of Alumni Fundraising. As President of the Columbia Club of Indianapolis, Cynthia headed the major Phase One renovation of the overnight guest rooms as well as reception and ballroom in this historic property.
Community service activities include Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana and the preservation and restoration of commercial properties. Through her diverse and multiple experiences, she has developed an excellent knowledge of investment opportunities and successful endeavors.
Cynthia earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University.

As a former six-term member of the Indiana House of Representatives (1984-1996) and Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee (1994-1996), Sam Turpin has been involved in the Midwest business community and political arena for more than twenty years.
He was actively involved with numerous legislative issues and successfully guided many pro-business measures through the public policy process. Mr. Turpin was a member of the House Commerce, Local Government, and Ways and Means Committees. He also served on the State Budget Committee, State Tax and Policy Committee, and the Local Government Tax Control Board.
Sam Turpin has extensive business experience in investment banking, commercial real estate and government relations. (Traub & Company, CB Richard Ellis and Conseco)
Mr. Turpin maintains an excellent working knowledge of fiscal policy, tax issues, and pending legislation, and is in regular contact with many Midwest business and political leaders. Mr. Turpin’s legislative expertise and government relations experience qualifies him to effectively represent a variety of clients with diverse interests.

Eric comes to HSG with over 15 plus years sales experience with senior positions in account management. Eric has a history of consistently exceeding sales expectations and has been recognized with multiple awards for sales achievements throughout his career. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana State University and also serves on the board of a local non-profit organization.

Ron is a 21+ year veteran of hotel real estate investment and management working for public hotel companies such as Choice Hotels International and private management companies and investors of limited and full-service hotels and restaurants.
Over the past three years, Mr. Burgett has been in a senior management role with Smith Dean & Burgett, Hotel Investments, based in Traverse City, MI, a veteran hotel brokerage firm in the Michigan area.
Prior to launching Hospitality Sales Group, Ron held positions for public hotel companies including Choice Hotels International, where he served as a national Vice President of Development, managing US and Caribbean sales and development efforts for the company’s established brands. He is best noted for managing Choice’s world class development team through several record sales years, working with some of the best and brightest professionals in the franchise industry.
Mr. Burgett’s vast experience in hotel franchising, operations and acquisition has been evidenced by his participation in over 1,600 property transactions, involving independent and franchised hotels, land sites and other forms of commercial real estate. He has an excellent transactional track record with hotel real estate assets, beginning in the early 90’s in the Midwest, and more recently across the country.
Ron also has extensive experience in property management, working with the Charlotte, NC based Maxim Management Corporation. He managed district operations in high volume franchised hotels in Chicago, Indianapolis, and Grand Rapids. His restaurant management background includes managing multiple Cracker Barrel and Max and Erma’s restaurants in the Midwest in his early 20’s.
Mr. Burgett received his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University, and received his Certified Hotel Administration (CHA) designation in 1990. He holds commercial real estate licenses in multiple states.
